WWTF grant to explore Covid-19 effects on firms

Together with Jonas Puck, Jakob Müllner, and Michael Wolfesberger I got a grant to investigate how the Covid-19 pandemic influences firms in Austria. Crowdfunding workshop with regional energy managers in Lower Austria

Today I co-hosted a workshop on crowdfunding for a group of representatives of communities in Lower Austria. We looked into crowdfunding and other ways of financing energy projects together with colleagues from Conda, Conplusultra, and the broader E-FIX (http://energyfinancing.eu/en/) community. Erasmus+ project on inquiry-based learning

I just received the signed copies of the collaboration agreement for an Erasmus+ grant focussing on the development of inquiry-based learning techniques in the context of IYPT (www.iypt.org). This is a joint project between WU, the association AYPT (www.aypt.at) and several international partners.

Third Mission: Auditor at association IYPT

I have been an auditor of the association (under French law) IYPT – International Young Physicists’ Tournament – since 2015. This association organizes the annual “Physics World Cup” for high school students (http://www.iypt.org). As in the past, this year’s auditor report did not find material shortcomings in the financial report.

Third Mission: Treasurer at association AYPT

I just completed preparing the first annual financial report for the Association AYPT – Austrian Young Physicists’ Tournament. AYPT organizes an annual physics competition for high school students, and selects a team of five students for the international competition: IYPT. Horizon2020 project on innovative financing mechanisms for energy efficiency measures
