Thomas Lindner

Professor of International Management

Jop openings at UIBK

There are now open calls for applications for researcher positions at my new IM research unit in Innsbruck. The job post is below.

Dear colleagues,

We are building a new research group in International Business at University of Innsbruck (Austria), and are currently seeking applications for a fully funded 6-year postdoc position, and a fully funded 4-year PhD position (both including travel budgets and other perks). The job advert for the postdoc position is available here (in English: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/657900, in German: https://lfuonline.uibk.ac.at/public/karriereportal.details?asg_id_in=11975), and the advert for the PhD position is available here (in English: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/659225, in German: https://lfuonline.uibk.ac.at/public/karriereportal.details?asg_id_in=11974).

Both jobs are set to start per September 1, and applications are possible until July 19 (postdoc) and July 21 (PhD). Salaries and working conditions follow the (quite attractive) Austrian collective bargaining agreement. Innsbruck is located in the Alpine region of Tyrol, some impressions including opportunities for mountain-based activities (e.g., skiing!) are available here: https://www.austria.info/en/in-harmony-with-austria/innsbruck-capital-of-the-alps. Innsbruck University is a leading university in the Germany-Austria-Switzerland (DACH) region, and has a long history of teaching IB programs. Some information on the research areas in the new IB group are available here: https://www.uibk.ac.at/smt/international-management/. Because the group is new, candidates will also be asked to express their own ideas for the research directions the group could take.

Please share the job ads with potentially interested candidates, and please reach out for questions and enquiries regarding the positions.
